A SHOCKING CCTV video has been released showing a Tesla crashing through the glass wall of a convention centre.
The video shows the brutal force with which the car hit the building, smashing through the glass and ending up pointing backwards inside.
As reported by The Columbus Dispatch, the Tesla Model 3 hit the Greater Columbus Convention Centre in Ohio at around 70mph.
'It's miraculous that no one was seriously injured or killed as the vehicle ran a red light as pedestrians, cars and buses traversed High Street nearby around lunchtime on a business day.'
The driver told police afterwards that the Tesla lost the ability to brake and would not stop, causing the incident.
But as the footage goes on, an interior shot reveals how close the crash was to being an even more grave situation.

The Dispatch continued: 'had the car not rammed into a steel support column inside the Convention Center after plowing through a glass wall, it may have continued through the interior of the facility, which was hosting several events at the time including a girls junior volleyball championship.'
The video clearly shows the Tesla striking a column inside leaving a dent in it and spinning around.
In the background adults and children can be seen running to have a look at what caused the loud noise.
A police report doesn't mention whether Tesla's semi-autonomous Autopilot tech was active during the crash
The video was provided by the Greater Columbus Convention Authority after an Ohio Public Records Act request.
