Steam down latest – Users hit with account chaos as they report issues with downloads, log-ins and purchases | The Sun

STEAM users in the UK and the US are having trouble accessing their accounts to download games and complete purchases.

On Saturday morning, over 1,000 complaints were reported by DownDetector in the UK, mainly in London.

Users in the US had trouble too, however, it seems that the situation is affecting British players more.

Most problems were encountered while logging in, while others also had issues with downloads and purchses.

So far, there hasn't been any update given by Steam.

    Issues seem to be resolved

    Thankfully, Steam got onto the issues immediately as reports suggest that the problems may have been solved.

    It comes as reports have dropped to 54.

    Most issues have been with logging in as 77% of reports suggested.

    Meanwhile, 19% had problems with server connection while another 4% could'nt complete purchases.

    Reports on DownDetector suggest that users are having problems accessing their Steam accounts.

    The problem seem to have started 10am today.
