We do not usually accept non-Canadians, but our policy has changed on Friday the 26th of September since there was a major event in our community and we needed to show our support. All are welcome, but it will be limited to just 10 people since we have a very large group of developers from all over the world visiting Canada. Our main intention is to attend Dreamforce which happens on the 29th and 30th of September and so we believe it is important to have a large group of people to show our support of Salesforce Canada. However, we will try to accommodate those that do not have much time. Your group can have as much as ten people however if you would like to attend just one of the two events we will be happy to accommodate you. Also, please be aware that there will be some of our employees there to help answer any questions you may have. We will send a confirmation email to the email address you provide upon registration to confirm that you will be attending. -DanielThis email is a little more polite than the one you got from the first time and it does include a phone number:Hey Daniel,Were glad to have you as part of our event. We know you probably dont have much time, so were only able to offer ten seats to our event on September 26th, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. We cant confirm that every person will be able to attend, so we need to reserve seats on a first come first served basis. As with every event of this caliber, there will likely be people that are not a part of our company. If you would like to speak with a member of sales, you will definitely have the opportunity to do so. Please be mindful that there will probably be a lot of people trying to get to you already, so dont worry about that, just come ready to make a good impression. If you have any others questions, dont hesitate to ask. Best,DavidCEO, Salesforce Canada IncDaniel responds:Hello David,Thank you for the reply, I appreciate it. I understand your company has little time to help me though. I know you probably dont have much time, but I should get down to business, can you please be here after 7:00PM. Thanks, you tooDaniel heads to his room and you head back to your hotel room with your laptop. The second email from Daniel is a little different in tone. Its a bit more formal and he states that he will be in the Salesforce office between 7-9PM. It will be a big company event and he will have a large number of people and cant help but need your help.
