I was fined £165 for blocking somebody’s driveway but my car was just millimetres across it – what do you think? | The Sun

World News

A DRIVER has taken to the internet to vent their frustration after being fined £165 for blocking a driveway.

The driver uploaded a picture of her parking to Facebook but didn't get the support she was expecting from other drivers.

The incident happened in Sydney, Australia and the driver revealed she'd been fined $283 for her parking, or around £165.

In the now-deleted Facebook post, the driver argued that the fine was 'ridiculous' as she was only 'dusting' the line of her neighbour's driveway.

She asked: "This feels absolutely ridiculous and a complete money grab. Am I being unreasonable?

"My head is telling me to just pay the fine and be done but I feel like this is a real injustice?"
