I loved my £2million Bentley so much I made my private jet and helicopter look the same | The Sun

World News

A BENTLEY owner loves his car so much, he has matched his motor to a luxurious private jet and helicopter.

It's not something the average person worries about, but for 'aviation entrepreneur' Kenn Ricci it comes after 10 years of buying Bentleys.

Ricci owns and invests in aviation businesses including the builder of private jets Flexjet.

He also owns a very special Bentley called the Bacalar, of which only 12 were ever made by Bentley's bespoke department Mulliner.

The Bacalar is a two-seater with a humungous 650hp twin-turbo W12 engine but no roof. Not even a fold-away job.

Which seems a little stingy, given the price tag is £2million. Well, was – all 12 are sold.

But Kenn Ricci loved his Bacalar so much that he wanted to replicate the experience in two of his private jets and a helicopter.

Ricci chose two of his firm Flexjet’s new Gulfstream G650 jets and a Sikorsky S-76 chopper to have the work done to.

On the outside of both, you'll find the same shade of green paint Ricci has on his Bentley.

Inside is the same 5000-year-old wood used in Ricci's car, as well as satin bronze fittings and unique diamond-carved carpet.

You'll also find the same linen and leather-trimmed seats that the Bacalar has, which Ricci has in two-tone white and black.

Bentley says that 148,199 individual stitches are needed to embroider the unique Bacalar quilt on each seat.
